  • Through its Nutriven initiative, the group has ventured into fortification of food commodities – rice, milk, oil, etc. – to contribution to fighting large scale malnutrition

  • Fortified food has been proven to be effective at providing requisite nutrients – currently missing from midday meals, PDSs – to an individual’s diet

  • Fortification has been recognised by the WHO, WFP, UN, etc. as a breakthrough solution for solving nutritional problems in developing and underdeveloped countries
